Let me welcome September with a positive note, a sampling from my other blog, Poems from the Heart.

.
a new day
so different from the last
a new day
i don’t know what has lapsed
refreshing thoughts
a smile, a little high
the past gone?
how come, oh why?
pinch me if you must
to wake up to reality
take it in little strides
slowly, slowly
magical, intoxicating
but i am awake
not reel, it’s real!
all for me to take
oh what a fortune
don’t you think so?
i am not used to this
better take it slow
a new day
so different from the last
a new day
i don’t know what has lapsed
.

Simple but intense. I write poetry too and know this. It takes a lot of emotion to be there.

I love the poem! Well written Tita!
Reminds me of how I should take things as it come and to walk slowly through every trials and tribulations till I find my milestone.

At least, even if the weather is weird, you can still wax poetic and celebrate the new day.
