Peace and Quiet

January 21st, 2008 by Sexy Mom · Viewed 2344 times · 9 Comments

yes, an empty bench
amidst peace and quiet
refreshing thoughts
calming
inviting…

for one so used
to the city’s hustle and bustle
to the fast paced life
high stakes
stresses

the empty bench
means nothing at all
to remain there
just as an empty bench
each passing day

for one who looks deep within
it holds meaning
heeds to the invitation
for peace and quiet, company
it will be an empty bench no more

It’s an escape to just sit on the bench because the hustle bustle of the city can be frustrating and stressful at times.

SexyMom: More than an escape. It’s a haven.

there’s a pathos in reflection for even the imbeciles, dullards and the slow witted and all those who don’t have the Aristotelian sense of ‘Catharsis’ or the Platonic sense of an ideal or the Epicurean sense of dashing ‘hedonism’...
