The D Spot

February is my most favorite month of the year. It’s like all through the years, February has given me a sense of inner peace and quiet joy. Perhaps because compared to other months, it goes by so fast, with only 28 days (every 4 years, 29), shorter by 2-3 days from the other months. February is the month of hearts. It is also the month of my birthday. Oh, they say people born in February are weird or eccentric in nature (particularly those born on my birthday–I don’t mind at all. Also said to have an aura of mystery and charm, a picture of romanticism, February people are loving and nurturing parents, and know how to fuel the imagination of children. Maybe so, maybe so. In the past, February has been the month of many pleasant memories. It’s like there has always been a day to celebrate in February. I look forward to tomorrow, the first of February.

Let me say good-bye to January and welcome the new month. Hello, February.
