The D Spot

There’s always so much to be thankful for–be they blessings…and yes, be they trials. I am always almost amazed each passing day, there is so much in my heart that I carry. Yes, everyday is a miracle–each day that there is food to eat on the table, each day that the kids go to school and come safely back home, each day and night that there is work to do, each day that we connect with friends and loved ones, and each day that ends when everyone is home. Each day that we make someone smile or someone makes us smile.  Each day a pound of weight gained or lost. Each day that a member of the family gets well from an illness, grudges or ill feelings remedied, squabbles patched, emerging from trials unscathed.

Small wonders, simple these things may be, they mean a lot.  Each day is simply amazing, and so is life–nothing then shall hold us or keep us from continuing things that life tells us to do, that life tells us to pursue and follow. There is so much to thank the good Lord for–family, friends, work, love, life, and many more.

Thanksgiving Day may not be a local holiday–but each day is Thanksgiving Day.
