JOBS: Bloggers and/or Writers Needed (Again)

UPDATE as of 4 August 2008—This requirement has already been completed, thanks to all who expressed their interest.
My post on 23 March for Bloggers and/or Writers has caught the attention of many who sent in their expressions of interest. I was lucky to have a few ones who turned out to be committed and were able to produce quality work within the given deadlines. I thank you all—you know who you are. Paytime is very near.
But there is another side to the story. There were also others who were given the writing projects, out of my desire to help them start their writing gig (I cannot even call it a career), but turned out to be (I’m sorry to say this) unprofessional and uncommitted. Some just would not respond to emails and chats, even if they were very visible on g-chat, YM or Skype. It’s as if they must have forgotten how they almost begged for some writing projects. It would have been very easy to say, “Mom, I am very sorry but I could not deliver”. I would have understood, I would even have guided them how to do the work, had they asked for my help. Ask others—they will tell you how patiently I have dealt with them. It was very stressful waiting for them to upload their written work, and finally frustrating to find out that come deadline, there wasn’t anything done at all. Call that “responsible”. I wonder what future there could be for one who could not even be responsible for his or her action, when for even a small writing project, he or she could not face commitments.
Anyway, it’s April and we have started with the next phase of the writing project. Again, I am opening an avenue of opportunity.
I need additional writers—bloggers who can commit to meeting deadlines. This is mostly copywriting work, and the articles are to be short posts on a wide variety of niches/topics. Compensation is okay by Philippine standards, and is of course commensurate to the effort put into this project. While I do not need really experienced writers, I would need prospective writers to have a good grasp of the language—English.
Interested applicants may please send me an email at choco_cupcake98@yahoo.com. Please send a copy of your resume (online, inline or as an attachment), and links to your blogs or other writing works.
Those who are already on board, there is no need to resubmit your applications. I have already given the assignments to many of you. Those who have not received their assignemnets uet, just give me a buzz.

It’s so nice of you po in helping other people start their blogging careers.
I’m actually interested for a job in blogging but I wanna be sure if I can really make a commitment in blogging with deadlines when I finally join the workforce. I also don’t wanna get into or make trouble with a ‘ningas kugon’ attitude.
Wow! Great blog.
I found this blog which was linked by one of my comment posters in my blog.
I do freelance work primarily on programming and web design blogs, and writing is another source of my income (SEO and article writing so far).
However, I intend to apply – may be not right now with my busy schedule. I just could not resist putting in some comment on your blog.
And yes, as a freelancer, deadlines is truly a very important thing.
Hi,
Wazzup Manila is looking for guest bloggers. This can be useful to bloggers who need to show that some of their work was published.

i was one of her writers and i say, i enjoyed writing for her assignments. i really was learning a lot! from complicated and technical stuff such as programming, ruby to travel and urban living which were what i enjoyed the most. not to mention the “chismis” i gathered for my entertainment assignment. basta, i really learned a lot. plus, the payment was worth it.
thnx! i hope to write more for your future projects
