I came at 4pm and was done in less than half an hour. Voting was smooth, as far as my cluster precinct in Teachers’ VIllage East was concerned. The other half of the area was an orderly chaos, as the PCOS machine was not working–ballot jam, I was told. It took the people a while to wait for the go signal to vote and then drop the ballots in the black rectangular container that holds the PCOS machine.
I have cast my vote. I voted–WISELY!
Now, whoever wins, whatever the results are–they are the collective votes of the Filipino people. We have chosen our leaders–whatever the consequences are, good or bad, we have to accept. In our own little ways, we need to contribute for the betterment of our country, of the society.
