Today 22 April 2010 marks the 40th year since the first Earth Day.
Happy Earth Day to ALL!!!
Earth Day was designed 40 years ago with an aim to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. Interestingly those in the Northern Hemisphere celebrate it in spring while those in the Southern Hemisphere celebrate it autumn. In the Philippines we celebrate it in the heat of summer.
