After the first round, Ateneo takes solo position to the lead, with only 1 losing game. FEU and DLSU ties with 5 wins and 2 loses, while UE comes fourth with 4 wins and 3 loses.

The past five games were interesting, with ADMU losing to FEU last Thursday, UP beating ADU and UE beating DLSU yesterday, and NU beating FEU in today’s first game. It was NU’s first win so far.

ADMU beat UST in today’s final game of the first round, by 7 points. Khasim Mirza broke ADMU’s lead at the 5:38 mark giving UST a 3-point lead in the 4th quarter (54-51). After that, UST remained scoreless while ADMU made 10 straight points in 5 minutes. ADMU and UST scored 3 more each afterwards, with a final score of 64-ADMU and 57-UST.

In this game, Chris Tiu scored 14, Rabeh 17, Jhai Reyes 10, while rookie Buenafe made 12. UST’s Dylan Ababou scored 15 points.
