RESULTS ARE NOW POSTED ONLINE:  myuste.ust.edu.ph:8888/admission/results.jsp. Follow this link, so that it will be easier.

You should be ready with your Applicant Number.

NOTE: This post is for information only. Some parents and/or students send comments or emails asking if their kids or they passed the USTET. I am sorry to say that I do not have access to the results, and I already went to UST yesterday to check on some names. :)

For those who have options on which school to go to, please follow this link:  ADMU? DLSU? UP? UST? etc.–which school to go to given the options.

The results of the 2009 UST Entrance Test have been posted, except for some colleges, like the College of Nursing and the College of Engineering. There may be results for other colleges that have not been posted yet, but I am not aware of them. Better call or contact the Office of Admissions, to be sure, before going there.

Telephone: +632 406.1611 local 8276; + 632 309.7211
Mobile: +63 917.815.6323; +63 919.352.2634
Tele-facsimile: +632 309.7214
E-mail: ofad@mnl.ust.edu.ph

The results are posted in the buildings where the colleges are located. For example, the results for the College of Science are posted outside the Main Building.

Take note also, that the College of Commerce (for BSBA and BS of Science on Commerce major in Enterpreneurship) is different from the AMV College of Accountancy. I saw students and parents, shaking their heads in disbelief that they or their students did not pass the test for Accountancy, while looking at the bulettin boards where the results of the College of Commerce were posted. Most of them were not aware that the two colleges were different from each other. In most schools, Accountancy is housed in the College of Commerce.

UST may have its own reason, but posting results in different colleges seems for me to be a disorganized effort, making it difficult for parents and students to see the results in one go. Like we had to go from one college to another to check on my daughter’s results and those of her cousins and their friends (congratulations Chato and TinTin for passing your choice colleges in UST and the Ateneo–WL for Chato but it is good enough, she will be able to manage getting in at the Ateneo).

A suggestion is for UST to post the results in one building, say outside the gym or the main building. Maybe, UST can also post the results alpahbetically, with the course indicated beside the name for the first and second choice). Ateneo did it this way–posted the results outside the Blue Eagle Gym. UP also posts its results in the Office of Admission, alphabetically also. Ateneo, UP and DLSU have online postings, too. Am not sure with UST.

Congratulations to all who passed the USTET, and good luck to those waitlisted.
