UPDATE:

26 Jan 2009

Got a text message from Angel—after the blood transfusions, his wife’s platelet count has increased to 73, a good sign. She’s being monitored by the doctors, hoping that the count will not drop anymore. His daughter Angelene might be discharged this afternoon. Let’s continue to pray for him and his family. Again, Angel would like to thank you all for your prayers and financial support.

24 Jan 2009

Angel sends his thanks for your prayers and financial support (P14,000 so far). Let’s continue to pray that the blood transfusion of his wife is a success and that his daughter be safe from danger. Additional financial support would be most welcome for hospital fees (P16th).

Other ways by which you can send money to Angel, aside from Western Union are:

Bank Deposit. Please email Noemi if you want to deposit through Angel’s friend’s BPI account. She will send you the account name and number.

Via paypal through Noemi’s account at noemidado@gmail.com. She will advance proceeds, transaction fee and deposit to the the BPI account in number of Angel’s friend. She will also furnish copy of your paypal donation to Angel.

A co-blogger, Angel Cuala (FatherBloger.com) is asking for financial help—his wife, Mylene is currently confined at CP Reyes Hospital in Tanauan City, Batangas. She has been diagnosed for dengue, and is in immediate need of blood transfusion:  4 packs of fresh frozen plasma which costs P9,700. I guess that a husband and father will go this far for love of wife and child.

The request for help has been coursed through Janette Toral’s blog, by way of a comment. I have personally verified this after Janette sent a plurk message.

As of this writing, Angel has also rushed his eldest daughter, Angelene to the hospital, for the same symptoms as his wife’s. Angelene has also been admitted to the hospital.

The 4 packs of fresh frozen plasma are now ready for transfusion, but the hospital is just waiting for payment. In the meantime, Angel has already exhausted his financial resources, and is seeking help from kind hearts.

You may call up Angel personally or send him a text message in case you want to help, at: 0919 320 8296 (or 0920 481 9254, Mylene’s number). You may also send money through Western Union, to:  ANGELO FERNANDO V. CUALA, with home address at 799 G. Leviste St., Poblacion Malvar, Batangas.

The hospital’s phone number is:  (043) 7781119.

Let’s help our co-blogger. You may please send a donation, pass on this message or post it in your blogs. And YES, OUR PRAYERS, too. Thank you.

Btw—If you send money through Western Union, please text the details to Angel (0919 320 8296) or Mylene (0920 481 9254) for ease of withdrawing the money.

Oh my. Dengue is really rampant nowadays. Last week, it was reported that actress Pauleen Luna was rushed in the hospital due to Dengue.

Hoping that his wife and daughter will be ok asap

Baka may PayPal account si Father Blogger? Much convenient kasi almost all bloggers have PayPal accounts.

Sexy Mom: Thanks, Mitch, PayPal will take a long time to encash, not immediate, plus consider the charges. His PayPal account is still not verified, according to him.

    Hi everyone,

Thank you very much for your prayers and support. For the record, my wife is just waiting for the blood transfusion part and my money now is not really sufficient right now.

She still has bruishes on her face, and my daughter is still under observation. Both of them are still uncapable of eating since they only vomit afterwards.

I only went home to get some things, and will go back to the ospital at once. Just like Ms. Racoma’s post, all kind hearted and has extra money – please feel free to send it to name at address mentioned above through WESTERN UNION.

You can also contact me through the above number – 09193208296.

Again, thanks to all and GOD BLESS! I will try to update you the sonnest possible.

Hmmmm… baka merong pwede on behalf of Angel makigamit na lang ng PayPal kasi kung through PayPal I’m sure mas madaming makakapagpadala. Kahit yung pa-$5 pag naipon madami na din yun.

Maybe someone close to Angel can do this for him tas pag nakaipon na ipa-Western Union na lang, isahang gastos na din.

    Hi everyone,

As of this moment, my wife has been a bit better after the Plasma transfusion through all your help – fellow Pinoy bloggers. I would like to take this chance to thank Noemi, Manuel, Dine, Dexter and and all to the wonderful bloggers who helped in cash and in prayers.

This afternoon, another test will be done to get the result of the transfusion and hopefully, it will be a success. But for now, she still can hardly eat and drink.

My daughter’s condition is still under observation, but her fever still rises abruptly. She can eat a few soft foods, and she shows no signs of dengue on her skin and face.

Again, thanks to all and who are still willing to help through money or prayers.

    GOD BLESS!

PS. Noemi just send me a mail about the latest paypal contribution which will be sent to a BPI account of a very close friend who lives near our place. Thanks everyone!
