Hi Dine, it was such a noble thing to do. When we were young, I remember, we used to visit the Hospicio de San Jose and Mother Theresa House of Charity (in Tayuman). We were so happy doing that, visiting the kids and the abandoned elderlies. We even asked our Dad to adopt the babies, boys in particular bec. we don’t have boys in our family. But Dad said it’s better if we just give them some of the things they need in the orphanage. If only, we could adopt them and give them a new home and family, it would be a lot better…

oh, what a great place to hung out sometimes and yet it doesn’t cost anything. i wonder if they would recognize you on your next visit. i would love to bring my guitar and sing children song with them.

Flaunting for vanity and personal gain is different from flaunting for awareness. Fix yourself first.

If you continue to hate what we do, then I advise you to move on to another blog. There’s no room for your kind here.

Anyways. To the kind people who want to help CRIBS, please drop by their website (most especially the How to Help section) and see what you can do to help. Besides volunteers, they are in need of donations. So it’s still possible that people who are out of the country can help.

Therese is such a big fan of yours, I’m sure of that. It’s so obvious. I mean, she reads your posts and bothers to comment. NOW THAT’S LOVE.

And I bet she’s just really really REALLY jealous. Like she’s already eating her heart out. She’s probably as green as the hulk in envy. I do hope she gets to read this. HAHAHA.

Man I hate social climbers. I mean like the people who would ride with other people’s fame or glory or even niceness, and those who seek attention by saying bad things about something which is actually really nice. All the same to me. Hate them all. hahaha!

My, my, how sweet
I would love to hug a dozen of those babies. It’s easy for the volunteers kasi come & go lang, but I’m sure the caregivers get tired & do need help, too.

Thanks for sharing this as I know CRIBS need all the help they can get.

BTW only y-day my 4-year old was saying he wishes I have a baby in my tummy. He wants a baby daw! Asus.

Love the quote on babies. We’re all babies too .. never outgrowing the need for love.

In Surigao, I visited a banker-friend’s own personal semi orphanage, where he takes in about 30 undernourished babies ostensibly only up to the time they recover, kaya lang ang daming parents who don’t ‘t come back for their children na. So I know what you mean when you said you (the visitor) hug them, carry them in your arms and heart … as many as you can manage at a time. So heartbreaking to turn their backs on them at the end of an hour or couple of hours. But then we can only do so much.

Be assured that I am not flaunting. The reason I am posting this is to share good cheers, and to create an awareness that CRIBS does exist. Some people might want to share, give a part of themselves, or just be as positive as many people are.

As to my family, thanks for your concern–we are as blessed as could be. We are as happy as could be, and it shows naman, di ba? A lot of people can vouch that.

Take note also that this is the last time I will allow you to insult me publicly as I will not be posting your comments anymore.

I just hope and pray that you be blessed, too, and that you would also see that life is so good. God bless you, Therese. and believe it or not, I am sincere when I say this.
