Last Thursday saw the launching of Ipanema echo-chic Gisele Bündchen Seeds Collection at the Le Soufflé, The Fort. It was capped by a performance by members of The Philippine Ballet Theater, who danced to vibrant Brazilian music. How they flipped and flopped gracefully sans ballet shoes, but with fashion savvy Ipanema flip-flops instead.

Unique details adorn the latest GB Seeds Collection by Ipanema such as the forest-inspired print on its soles and the metal spiral button gracing the front sandal strap that symbolizes “the seed of life.” This metal emblem empowers each wearer to do their part and share in the campaign towards a lush Philippines by helping to spread the word. With the vibrance of Brazil’s people, life and most especially, the environment, the Ipanema GB Seeds Collection is actively working for a better environment through conscientious resource management.

Food was great, particularly dessert (as expected of Le Soufflé) , and so was company—twas a chance to again be with blogger friends (in photo) Aiza, Annalyn, Cess, Jane, Cookie, Wenchie, Julie and Jane’s daughter, Cara).

ELRO Commercial and Industrial Corporation, Ipanema’s exclusive distributor, has organized a walkathon called Walk The Green Mile to benefit the Philippine Rainforests. The first 300 people to join and register on the said date will get limited Ipanema Gisele Bundchen baller IDs, with the first 100 getting a limited Walk the Green Mile Shirt. What a wonderful event. I received an email invite but wasn’t able to make it. Sometimes I wish I still live in our old place in Manila. I’m glad you had a wonderful time.
