To J Angelo and Caren, Happy 4th Wedding Anniversary

Four years ago, today, J Angelo (my child #1 of 7, and son #1 of 4) and Caren were wed at the San Sebastian Church, with a reception at Patio Victoria in Intramuros, made romantic with a quintet providing fine music. They were then both 22 years old—by today’s standard, a very young age to make a commitment and get married, for that matter.
To this day, they are blessed with 2 lovely daughters, Pia and Cate, and soon in September, another blessing—another little one!
You might be surprised to know that J Angelo and Caren have taken full responsibility of their growing family at a very early age (both 26 years old)—they live in an apartment 5 houses away from our home. They take care of their 2 kids all by themselves—they have no household helper. Caren is a pre-school teacher, while Angelo is a SAHD (stay at home dad). A SAHD, yes, but J Angelo is a Writer, Problogger, New Media Consultant, and soon to be Blog Overlord. Whatever Blog Overlord means, read it here.

Baby Pia and Baby Cate are growing up to be independent little girls, playing around in their home, while J Angelo does his work, or while J Angelo and Caren do their share of household chores. Of course there are times when the kids would feel irritable, as all little uns tend to do, but J Angelo and Caren have always kept their cool.It has always been a joy to have J Angelo and his family when they come to our home for a visit.
What I like most about J Angelo and his family is that they have carried along with them the family tradition of going to church together on Sundays, and in the evenings before going to sleep, they all pray together as a family. A good example for thir siblings to emulate.
Happy 4th wedding anniversary, J Angelo and Caren. You have a long way to go, but do not hurry…take life by the day, continue to nurture, cherish, and love each other. Continue to be responsible, loving parents to Baby Pia and Baby Cate. Continue to be good examples to your siblings, who look up to you as their Big Brother and Big Sister. Continue to be loving son and daughter to us your parents…we do appreciate how you go through life each day, and we are mighty proud of you both!
May you be always be blessed with good health, wealth, happiness, and the tenacity to go through life’s struggles. We, your parents and siblings, love you!
