Here’s a treasured poem, written by my son Vince 3 years ago, when he was 14 yeas old. Vince is my middle child (the real middle child, child #4 of 7, son #3 of 4). Simple gestures, as this one, are what keep us, moms, going. It is such a joy to receive a written appreciation, every now and then, especially from those who are close to our hearts. Vince is in 3rd year HS at the Ateneo. He maintains his own blog here.
my mom, the mom blessed with 7 children
the great mother for more than 24 years
the mom who would think of others before herself
the mom who is most patient at all times
the mom who has been providing all our needs
the mom who is most loving
the mom who is always there for us
the mom who seeks time for everything
the mom who has not failed in raising
her every child to grow healthy and
intelligent with everything they need
the mom who has loved us so much
also a very loving lola ;p
she’s simply the BEST MOM IN THE WHOLE WORLD
noticed i used the?
because my mom is the one and only mom
and no one can ever replace her.
and have i mentioned that my mom is sexy?
and very beautiful?
and very intelligent?
and very hardworking?
just as i said, my mom is simply the best!!
thanks mama! i love you so much mwah!!

Wonderful, well behaved kids. Often, they are not only children, but at times, the Best of Friends..

Ang sweet naman ni Vince. A poem from a middle child, (whom they say often neglected) baka hindi totoo ang kasabihan.

Oh, Dine. This inspires me to write about my second son – the middle child. Vince can be a sweet boy.. and Pauline is very lovely. My own Aypee has his notable qualities too but not quite noticed because somehow, he is the underachiever of my three children. I’m about to post an entry about him now.. Thanks for these entries. They again, inspired me.. Oh, you inspire me a lot in so many ways!
