Happy Birthday, Alan Jr.

He turns 11 years old today—our Alan, Jr. What joy our family had 11 years ago, when our youngest, Alan Jr was born. He has grown in an environment, where he has almost all the age groups in his midst, the young adults (J Angelo and Monica), the late teens (BA and Vince), the young teens (Angela and Pauline) and the little ones (his nieces Pia and Cate and new born nephew Michael). This is why, he can deal with almost any person more than his age and those younger.

While most of his siblings are busy with their studies and activities, Alan Jr would almost always hang around with me, to bloggers’ meet (as he is a young blogger himself—he started half a year before me), to the supermarket, to movies, to the QMC where we go biking), etc. Sometimes, it’s like, he is an only child, and how he enjoys every moment of it.

Like any other boy his age, Alan Jr loves computers, computer games, and the arcade. He is not an addict though, he knows when to stop. For games, he would most of the time know more than his elder siblings—they would ask him for tips, cheats, and help in trouble shooting. Sometimes his adult friends from a computer shop nearby would call and ask for the same kind of help. He can act his own age, but still talk with elder ones as though he were a peer. By the way, almost always, Alan Jr gets his class’ “Most Behaved Student” award, given at the end of the school year—for me, much better than any academic award.

And yes, Alan Jr loves SexyMac, especially the Photobooth!

Guapo siya. And, commendable, I appreciate, at his young age, he wears a coat and a tie na.
Not many would wear those this days, kasi the tren is: butas na maong and tshirts.

You must have disciplined him very nice, dina, eventually,he will a crown to his supermom!
