Let’s add Joey de Venecia to the roster of present heroes. After all, the Jun and Joey tandem was suppose to receive a huge amount of bribe had Amsterdam Holdings won the bidding.

Have you forgotten CyberEd and Phil forest brouhaha? Jun should also expose his corrupt ways there. This will solidify his statue as the new kind of Filipino hero. A new paradigm for would be heroes of the future.

Vince, I am so proud of you. My husband texted me at the time you were shown in last night’s TV patrol. Proud din kami. I know you are an intelligent person to discern what is right and wrong. The future of our country lies in YOU, the youth.

Dine, we can only do so much for our kids.We as parents will not live forever. We can guide our kids only. In the end, the choice is theirs. I trust the educated youth will be the moving force of our country.

Indeed I am very proud of my son Vincent. But as the priest said in his homily today at Greenbelt Chapel, “We can only make a discernment between two goods not between good and evil as per St. Ignatius of Loyola. It is still a sin whether you take 10 pieces of bond paper or 1 ream from your office. There could only be a real change if those who are clamoring for change are not the ones who want to sit on the throne.” I can only hope and pray that our youth and unsuspecting citizens are not being used as pawns by two evils (oligarchs and vested interests) where there can be no discernment.
