WIN or LOSE — Congratulations, DLSU!

DLSU won today’s games, with a score of 60 for ADMU and 65 for DLSU. It was a well-played game. I just felt that ADMU players has been over-worked the past 2 weeks—what with playing 3 games over 7 days (Sunday against UST, Thursday againstDLSU and another Sunday against DLSU).

We were at the Araneta, wildly cheering, never losing hope till the last few seconds when DLSU’s lead was trimmed down from 7 to 2. It was clear after that that DLSU was winning the game. After DLSU has sang their Alma Mater Song, ADMU clapped for them, acnowledged the win. ADMU is never a sore loser. As in any game, there’s a winner and a loser. Stil, ADMU sang the Alma Mater Song with the same loyalty to the beloved Alma Mater. That’s the spirit of sportsmanship. That’s how UAAP should be.

In the same way that ADMU and DLSU had 1 win each in the last 2 games (though DLSU had the 2x to beat advantage—it would have been more fun had there been a 3rd game) in the Best of 3 Games between DLSU and UE, my guess is that DLSU will not make it easy for UE to win. UE will have at least 1 lose.

Again, CONGRATULATIONS, DLSU, till the next season—SEASON 71.

I’m sure, you never let Krispy Kreme’s final four doughnuts passed too po ano? Ey, the one especially made for those included in the Championship. It offers the red doughnuts, for UE; green for DLSU; ADMU for blue and the yellow doughnuts for UST. galing!

i was also at the araneta for the game. dlsu won. but it would have been better if ateneo won.
is that the chocolate cake of shoppersville? ang sarap ng chocolate cake ng shoppersville. sana may delivery ng cakes shoppersville, sarap po kasi ng cakes nila.

Stand proud ATENEO! The win was so sweet, because Ateneo made it very, very, very hard for us. We salute you

Looking back, the game could have gone either way … siguro, if there were still 30 secs more, mahirap sabihin kung sino ang mananalo.

This is the best UAAP season I have seen (hindi ako biased dahil nanalo DLSU ha) ... There were so many Overtime games, 1/2/3 point games (close!!),playoffs just to determine rankings, “playoffs” for the right to play in the playoffs, rubber matches … even NU muddled up the Final 4 proceedings.

I hope next season will have a more “balanced” league … I know UP will bounce back, di papayag yun na cellar dweller again… Adamson always has potentials … NU has tasted some sweet victories and will definitely get addicted to winning …

But, I have to finish this season first …

Good luck to DLSU and also to UE …
May the spirit of friendship remain no matter what happens … Whether La Salle wins OR UE loses!!

Congratulations to DLSU! It was really a great game. There is no other exciting game than an ATENEO vs. LASALLE game!

I really love how after the game, both sides applauded for each team. I love how understanding the players of both teams are! Just see how TY Tang and Chris Tiu show their brotherhood! It just shows that eagles and archers can also live in harmony. Afterall, it’s just a game and the relationships of archers and ateneans don’t just end there.

I do love cheering GO ATENEO ONE BIG FIGHT, but with the performance of LASALLE, I can and will also cheer for those players too in the Finals. Godbless! I also like your players too ya know.

Talo man, iba at masarap pa rin maging Atenista. Win or lose!

Hi Dine, OMG! You are an Atenean! I am a Lasallite all the way since grade school at DLS-Zobel. Anyway my in-laws are blue blooded like you. Yes it was a good game—could have been anyone’s game. Sorry but I have to say Animo La Salle!
