Awards Night at Digital Filipino’s Top 10 Emerging Influental Blogs of 2007

So, dear Readers, Family and Friends, this badge is for you–thank you for helping The D Spot make it to the #2 position for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2007. I received the award from The Digital Filipino.com, together with 13 others last 3 August 2007.

Receiving the award was a humbling exerience for me. I have not expected such show of support, not only from those who participated in this initiative, but also from those who have been watching in the sidelines.

I have felt the happiness of the winners, I have seen the glow in their eyes, my eyes, too. The blogging community, at least part of it, has not been stingy. Those who participated have been kind in nominating the new blogs that they felt have made some impact to them. The initiative has been able to create an awareness on new blogs–disovering more than 500 new blogs from 193 participants. The blogosphere is a wide wide world–it is for everyone; possibilities are endless.
