After 6 Months, This is Post #100–Thanks to You All

I wrote my first post, Finding My Niche, on 8 November 2006. It was son, J Angelo who set up my site and re-designed it. Soon after he announced my site, Noemi was the first one who commented. Dimaks of Ctr+Alt+Del gifted me with my header. Family has been very supportive.
Six months and 2 weeks after my first post, I am now writing Post #100. This means that I have been writing an average of 4 posts a week. Some significant happenings in these first 6 months are:
- gained a lot of friends in the blogosphere, even met some face-to-face
- gained readers of different age groups, retirees, young retirees, grandparents, young parents, teenagers, young adults
- gained blogfriends and readers from all parts of the world
- gained a number of clients for research work and content writing
- received an SOB (successful and outstanding blogger) award from Liz Strauss of Successful Blog.
- became one of the first writers for Pinoy Moms Network
- became known as the matriarch of the Racoma Blogging Dynasty (coined by Benj)
- was nominated for Best Personal Blog in the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards
- acquired my Sexy MacBook
- posted 17 articles for Blog to Profit
- unique hits: 49,185; hits: 194,264; spam: 13,464
- comments received: 2,455
- google page ranking 4/10
- ratified ranking of 75
- technorati ranking of 25,753
- technorti authority of 169
- blog worth: $74,519.28
And lately, from the initiative of Digital Filipno’s Janette Toral, The D Spot got nominations for Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2007. I can’t help but thank the following who nominated me. Here’s what they say:

- Micaela, Dagupan Dreamer: The Queen of the Racoma Blogging Dynasty! Known in the World-Wide-Web as the SexyMom, she just started her blogging career late last year yet she’s one of the most loved blogger today. No wonder since I’ve seen how supportive she is to her son, JAngelo during his speech at the iBlog3. Her entries are well-written and you can really see that she’s a great mom to her 7 kids and a seductive partner to the king hehehe (oops sorry for the term!). She’s one of my cyber titas as well. Hope to see more mommy bloggers like her in the future!
From the bottom of my Sexy Heart, thanks to you all, dear Readers, Blogfriends, and my Family for having supported me, such that I am now doing what I like most-WRITING, which is my passion. Rest assured that after Post #100, there will be more to come.
PS: Dear Blogfriends: Lately I have been frequenting your sites, but it seems that “sexy mom’s” comments are being caught as SPAM. Would appreciate your watching out for my comments when deleting your SPAM mails. Anyhow, I found a solution, I will now be SexyMom (and it’s not spammed, not as yet).

I admire previous generation’s accepting the computing world…my mom used to shy away from the computers. After teaching her the basics some 10 years ago, she gets to answer the calls of friends who were looking for me to ask some computer problem solution…and she offers the solution herself!
No one’s too old to learn…she is 60 now.
